INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This document is addressed to persons who request information about the controller’s projects through the info line or web form.

2. Purpose of Personal Data Processing
Info line:
Personal data are necessarily processed for handling the request of a caller contacting the call centre who requests information, subscribes to updates, or requests assistance. The info line is not used for outbound calls or marketing without the prior consent of the data subject. During a call initiated by the data subject, the data subject may grant consent to receive emails for the purpose of being informed about news concerning individual projects carried out by the Controller and for direct marketing purposes.

During a visit to the Controller’s website, the data subject may grant consent to receive emails for the purpose of being informed about news concerning individual projects carried out by the Controller and for direct marketing purposes.

6. Do We Transfer Your Personal Data Outside the European Union?
Personal data may exceptionally be subject to cross-border transfer to countries within the European Union or to third countries providing an adequate level of personal data protection when using cloud data storage services.
7. How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data?
If the caller’s request is handled during the call and the caller is not interested in receiving information, the Controller does not retain the caller’s data.
If the caller grants consent to receive information, the provided contact information and the recording as proof of consent are retained for three years from the granting of consent, unless the data subject withdraws consent earlier.
You may unsubscribe from newsletters free of charge at any time via the designated link included in the email containing the requested information, via the above-mentioned contact email address, or by post to the Controller’s address.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
8. What Are Your Rights?
As a data subject, you are entitled under the GDPR to several rights, which we would like to draw to your attention as follows:
8.1 Right of Access to Personal Data
You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether we process personal data concerning you and, if so, you have the right to obtain access to such personal data, as well as the right to basic information regarding the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you may contact us using the contact details provided above.
8.2 Right to Rectification or Completion of Personal Data
We take reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and currency of the information we hold about you. If you believe that the data we hold are inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, please do not hesitate to ask us to correct, update, or supplement such information.
You have the right to request the immediate erasure of your personal data where:
- the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
- you withdraw the consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
- you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;
- the personal data have been unlawfully processed;
- the personal data must be erased for compliance with a legal obligation under EU law or Slovak law.
For this purpose, you may contact us at any time using the contact details provided above, after which we will assess whether any exceptions apply in your case where it is not necessary to erase your data (even if one of the above conditions is met).
8.4 Right to Restriction of Processing of Personal Data
You have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data (i.e. we may only store your data, but may not otherwise process them) where:
- you contest the accuracy of the personal data;
- the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead;
- we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require them for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims;
- you object to the processing, pending verification whether the legitimate grounds of the Controller override those of the data subject.
For this purpose, you may contact us at any time using the contact details provided above, after which we will assess whether any exceptions apply in your case under which your personal data may also be processed in ways other than storage only.
8.5 Right to Object to the Processing of Personal Data
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where the legal basis for processing is:
a) the legitimate interests pursued by our company or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms requiring the protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child;
b) the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.
8.6 Right to Data Portability
Under certain circumstances (in particular where the processing is carried out by automated means), you have the right to request that we transfer the personal data you have provided to us to another third party of your choice. This applies only to personal data that we have obtained from you on the basis of your consent or on the basis of a contract to which you are a party.
8.7 Right to Withdraw Consent to the Processing of Personal Data at Any Time
Where we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time. You may withdraw your consent electronically or in writing using the contact details provided above. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
If you exercise any of the rights set out above, we will inform you of the handling of your request within 30 days from the date of its receipt. In justified cases, we may extend this period to 60 days, of which we will inform you.
8.8 Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
If you believe that your personal data are being processed unlawfully or that your rights have otherwise been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27. 9. Are You Required to Provide Us with Your Personal Data?
The processing of your phone number is necessary and foreseeable by the data subject, as telephone communication via the info line is carried out exclusively at the initiative of the caller.
Providing an email address is voluntary; however, if you do not provide it, we will not be able to send you the information you have requested. Providing your first name, surname, title, and phone number is voluntary.
10. Do We Carry Out Automated Decision-Making Including Profiling?
We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling.

Personal data is processed only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of its processing. After this period, the personal data is deleted in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
